Since 1988, CCSC has operated the Sunshine Resale Shop in Bellaire, Texas. The
shop serves as the central location where all donations are sorted and then
sent to the Emergency Services, JobNet or Back To School programs for distribution.
Remaining clothing and other items are sold at the Sunshine Resale Shop at a
fraction of full retail cost, thus providing a service to community residents,
particularly those residents who live on a fixed or limited income.
The funds raised from the sale of donated merchandise support the programs
of CCSC.Generous community members donate gently used items, such as clothing,
furniture, jewelry, lamps, rugs, household items and collectibles. Donors receive
a tax receipt and the pleasure that comes from knowing that those in need are
receiving assistance.

The proceeds from the Sunshine Resale Shop are
used to fund CCSC's outreach programs.

 The Sunshine Resale Shop is located in the Bellaire Triangle Shopping Center, at 5407 Bellaire Blvd., and is staffed by volunteers who participate in daily functions which include sorting donations, pricing merchandise, and assisting customers with selections and purchases.
